Environmental management

Respecting and preserving the environment is one of Crèdit Andorrà’s objectives. Right from the beginning, we have paved the way to incorporating sustainability criteria into our activity. We are aware that conducting our business generates a series of impacts on the environment that we must minimise, control and transform into positive actions for social progress.

What is the Environmental Management System (EMS)?
In 2004, we implemented the Environmental Management System (EMS), certified according to the ISO 14001 standard. The EMS is present throughout the whole value chain, from financial activity itself to suppliers, employees, customers and society. In turn, this has allowed us to introduce management criteria based on environmental efficiency, reduced consumption of raw materials and energy, and the fight against climate change, as well as other initiatives aimed at raising awareness and social commitment.
